| dc.description | Chorioamnionitis is a pathology difficult to diagnose accurately, so it implies a problem for health professionals who are exposed to its management. Not only does it produce alterations in the usual course of the pregnancies but it also causes high morbidity and mortality in the "RN". The present work indicates in a General way the physiopathology, the clinical and paraclinical findings of the disease and its management. The clinical point is one of the main points of view for the diagnosis of chorioamnionitis. Given the pathology, it is essential that labor occurs, regardless of the weeks of gestation that the patient has, will apply to the pregnant woman antibiotics, from the moment of diagnosis. | dc.description.abstract | Corioamnionitis es una patología de difícil diagnóstico certero, por lo que implica un problema para los profesionales de la salud que se ven expuesto a su manejo. No solo produce alteraciones en el transcurso usual de las gestaciones sino que causa alta morbimortalidad en los “RN”. El presente trabajo indica en forma General la fisiopatología, los hallazgos clínicos y paraclínicos de la enfermedad y su manejo. Uno de los principales punto de vista para el diagnóstico de la corioamnionitis es la clínica. Ante la patología, es fundamental que se produzca el parto, muy independientemente a las semanas de gestación que tenga la paciente, se aplicara a la gestante antibióticos, desde el momento del diagnóstico.
