| dc.description | Nowadays it has been demonstrated that the information and communication technologies have advanced widely in the organizations where they manage their most valuable asset, which is the information that is handled in them and that is why the corresponding security must be provided to avoid losses that can put the organization at risk The Subcentre of Health of the Parroquia El Salto, of the Babahoyo Canton, Province of Los Ríos, has a LAN (Local Area Network), in which the related data of the processes that are offered are transmitted in this health center with the aim of providing quality services. Considering that nowadays there are many risks that can affect the security of the organizations' computer networks and in most of the time the capital they have is not enough to protect them, that is why the vulnerabilities must be identified that can exist to be able to control them, so a risk analysis has to be done beforehand. The objective of this case study is to analyze the network technological infrastructure of the Health Subcenter of the Parroquia El Salto, of Babahoyo Canton, Los Ríos Province, to identify the risks that might exist and recommend possible measures to be taken to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Hoy en día se ha demostrado que las tecnologías de la información y comunicación han avanzado ampliamente en las organizaciones en estas se gestiona su más valioso activo que es la información que se maneja en ellas y por eso se debe brindar la seguridad correspondiente para evitar pérdidas que puedan poner en riego a la organización. El Subcentro de Salud de la Parroquia El Salto, del Cantón Babahoyo, Provincia de Los Ríos, cuenta con una Red LAN (Red de Área Local por sus siglas en inglés), en la que se transmiten los datos relacionados de los procesos que se ofrecen en este centro de salud con el objetivo de brindar calidad en sus servicios. Considerando que en la actualidad existen muchos riegos que pueden afectar a la seguridad de las redes informáticas de las organizaciones y en la mayoría de las veces el capital que estas tienen no es suficiente para poder protegerlas, es por eso que se debe tener identificada las vulnerabilidades que pueden existir para poder controlarlas por lo que se tiene que hacer previamente un análisis de riegos. El presente caso de estudio tiene como objetivo un análisis a la infraestructura tecnológica de red del Subcentro de Salud de la Parroquia El Salto, del Cantón Babahoyo, Provincia de Los Ríos, para identificar los riesgos que podrían existir y recomendar las posibles medidas a tomar para garantizar la integridad, confidencialidad y disponibilidad de la información. | es_ES |
