| dc.description | This research work is oriented to the study of the incidence of compatibility in the existing applications used as computer tools in the School of Systems Engineering of the School of Finance and Computer Science at the Technical University of Babahoyo. How we know free software represents freedom and great benefits for those who use it this is from the economic to the intellectual since it is free it is very easy to access its source code and verify how it was developed, unlike free software that does not necessarily have to be open source to the user or need to be free. It is very important to know that free software is used in companies and high influence companies in the world such as NASA, the NY New York Times, the United States Government use the largest number of applications based on free software this not only it represents important economic savings, but rather on the side of information security is a great point of support. | dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo de investigación está orientado al estudio de la incidencia de compatibilidad en las aplicaciones existentes usadas como herramientas informáticas en la escuela de Ingeniería en Sistemas de la Facultad Administración Finanzas e informática en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. Cómo sabemos el software libre representa libertad y grandes beneficios para quienes lo usan esto es desde lo económico hasta lo intelectual puesto que es libre es muy fácil acceder a su código fuente y verificar cómo fue desarrollado, a diferencia del software gratuito que no necesariamente debe ser de código abierto al usuario ni necesita ser libre. Es de gran importancia saber que el software libre es usado en empresas y compañías de alta influencia en el mundo como la NASA, el NY New York Times, el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos utilizan la mayor cantidad de aplicaciones basadas en software libre esto no solo les representa ahorro económico importante, sino más bien por el lado de la seguridad informática es un gran punto de apoyo. El uso de modernas herramientas, recursos y aplicaciones software, permiten el desenvolvimiento de un aprendizaje a la par con tecnología para poder así ir superando obstáculos que generalmente impiden el uso y la manipulación del software libre. | es_ES |
