dc.description	Colon diseases in recent decades have increased, constituting one of the major health problems worldwide, which within chronic degenerative diseases affects both men and women with a higher incidence in adults thus increasing the rate of morbidity and mortality. The present clinical case of nursing deals with a male patient of 58 years of age, with a pathology of intestinal obstruction related to colon tumor, hospitalized in the MARTIN ICAZA GENERAL HOSPITAL in the city of Babahoyo, it is a descriptive study - Retrospective carried out in the period of 20 days in which the patient was hospitalized in said institution and course by different areas such as post-surgery, San Vicente Room during the year 2017. Under these parameters, the following general objective was stated: Apply the scientific knowledge and care in the integral and competent nursing care process to the patient with intestinal obstruction. Through the application of the nursing care process, the result was to prevent a risk of infection in the patient, to manage the hyperthermia processes and the nutritional imbalance. Getting the patient to improve their health status and go home in good condition and with the respective nursing care. This study is based on Virginia Henderson's Theorizer.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Las enfermedades de colon en las últimas décadas han aumentado, constituyendo uno de los problemas principales de salud a nivel mundial, las cuales dentro de las enfermedades crónico degenerativas afecta tanto a hombres y mujeres con una mayor incidencia en los adultos incrementando así la tasa de morbimortalidad. El presente caso clínico de enfermería trata de un paciente se sexo masculino de 58 años de edad, con una patología de obstrucción intestinal relacionado con tumor de colón, hospitalizado en el HOSPITAL GENERAL MARTIN ICAZA en la ciudad de Babahoyo, es un estudio de tipo descriptivo - retrospectivo llevado a cabo en el lapso de 20 días en los cuales la paciente estuvo hospitalizado en dicha institución y curso por diferentes áreas como post quirúrgico, Sala San Vicente durante el año 2017. Bajo estos parámetros se planteó como objetivo general: Aplicar los conocimientos científicos y cuidados en el proceso de atención de enfermería integral y competente al paciente con obstrucción intestinal. Mediante la aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería se obtuvo como resultado prevenir un riesgo de infección en el paciente, manejar los procesos de hipertermia y el desequilibrio nutricional. Logrando que el paciente mejore su estado de salud y vaya a su casa en buenas condiciones y con los cuidados respectivos de enfermería. Este estudio se fundamenta en la Teorizante de Virginia Henderson.	es_ES
