| dc.description | SUMMARY The purpose of this document is to determine the factors that are associated in the presence of cabbage moth (Plutella xylostella L.), in the cultivation of cabbage (Brassica oleracea, L), in the province of Imbabura cantón Antonio Ante sector Sacred Heart of Jesus with the purpose of presenting viable alternatives for the identification and reduction of plagues that affect the cultivation of quintal quintal, for the investigation of the problem an information collection was carried out in the territory with the help of surveys directed to the farmers of the area, data which were interpreted in percentages with the help of statistical graphs, applying a descriptive statistic where the problems of the community are identified which allows the search for alternative management and approach of solutions. From the results obtained in the collection of data allowed to identify one of the main problems in the cultivation of cabbage (Brassica oleracea, L) which is the presence of the cabbage moth (Plutella xylostella, L.) causing foliage problems, contamination, perforation of the surface of the leaves with the exception of the veins, which without a proper control their damages are very high as the reduction of yield and quality of the crop being the cause of losses that reach up to 75% when the pest does not is controlled, after this research it is concluded that farmers must perform constant monitoring to identify the affectations and diseases in the crop making preventive applications to improve the resistance against the attack of any pest by increasing the production and the quality of the cabbage for marketing improving economic income and profitability of cabbage cultivation in the area. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN El presente documento tiene por objeto determinar los factores que se asocian en la presencia de polilla del repollo (Plutella xylostellaL.), en el cultivo de col (Brassica oleracea,L), en la provincia de Imbabura cantón Antonio Ante sector Sagrado Corazón de Jesús con el propósito de presentar alternativas viables para la identificación y disminución de plagas que afectan al cultivo de la col quintal, para la investigación del problema se realizó una recolección de información en territorio con la ayuda de encuestas dirigidas a los agricultores de la zona, datos que fueron interpretados en porcentajes con la ayuda de gráficos estadísticos, aplicando una estadística descriptiva donde los problemas de la comunidad se encuentran identificados lo que permite la busca de alternativas de manejo y planteamiento de soluciones. De los resultados obtenidos en la recolección de datos permitió identificar uno de los principales problemas en el cultivo de col (Brassica oleracea,L) que es la presencia de la polilla del repollo (Plutella xylostella,L.) causante de problemas en el follaje, contaminación, perforación de la superficie de las hojas con excepción de las venas, los que sin un debido control sus daños son muy altos como la reducción del rendimiento y calidad del cultivo siendo el causante de pérdidas que alcanzan hasta un 75 % cuando la plaga no es controlada, después de esta investigación se concluye que los agricultores deben realizar monitoreos contantes para identificar las afectaciones y enfermedades en el cultivo realizando aplicaciones preventivas para mejorar la resistencia ante el ataque de cualquier plaga incrementando la producción y la calidad del repollo para su comercialización mejorando ingresos económicos y rentabilidad del cultivo de col en la zona. | es_ES |
