| dc.description | SUMMARY The present work was carried out in order to solve a need of farmers in the area, which consists in the observation and identification of the corn cogollero worm, since the corn crop in the area is the main crop that It has been maintained for a long time, it is an ancestral crop and it will continue to be cultivated since it depends on the daily diet of those who grow it and of the whole country. In the document is described the characteristics, morphology of the pest, the taxonomic classification, the damages, symptoms and signs that are given in the plants by the attack and the problems that this plague causes to the farmer, since if it is not controlled time can cause very large economic losses. Identify according to the phenology of the crop, the times of attack of the pest and the environmental conditions more propitious for the attack. A survey was also carried out to farmers, to show the reality of what is happening with the management and control of the pest in the crop and to know what type of management they are implementing. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN El trabajo aquí presente fue realizado con el fin de solventar una necesidad de los agricultores de la zona, el mismo que consiste en la observación e identificación del gusano cogollero del maíz, ya que el cultivo de maíz en la zona es el cultivo principal que se ha mantenido desde mucho tiempo atrás, es un cultivo ancestral y que se seguirá cultivando ya que de él depende la alimentación diaria de los que lo cultivan y de todo el país. En el documento esta descrito las características, morfología de la plaga, la clasificación taxonómica, los daños, síntomas y signos que se dan en las plantas por el ataque y los problemas que esta plaga le causa al agricultor, ya que si no es controlado a tiempo puede ocasionar perdidas económicas muy grandes. Identificar según la fenología del cultivo, las épocas de ataque de la plaga y las condiciones ambientales más propicias. También se realizó una encuesta a los agricultores, para evidenciar la realidad de lo que está pasando con el manejo y control de la plaga en el cultivo y conocer qué tipo de manejo están implementando. | es_ES |
