| dc.description | In this case study, an analysis will be carried out for the implementation of a CAPsMAN MikroTik network in the Provincial Autonomous Decentralized Government of Los Ríos, which is carried out with the purpose of knowing if its implementation is feasible and in what could contribute to the easy management and administration of information in the systems area of the institution and the advantages and disadvantages compared to the current management of Internet access by users. The Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Province of Los Ríos, is a public institution whose objective is to propose and carry out plans, programs and projects that ensure the socio-economic and productive development of the Province of Los Ríos and El País (GADPLR, nd ), this institution has around 500 employees, so it is very important that these employees stay connected to the internet for a good flow in the information processes that are generated in the institution on a daily basis. This institution currently has an Internet connection, this connection is divided into three which are: fiber optic for the trunk network, copper cable category 6A and a wireless network in 2.4 GHz for the dissemination of the Internet to users and offices within the central building giving 80% coverage to the same, wireless coverage is handled with Ubiquiti brand equipment with Unifi technology, and in some offices home routers of different brands such as Tplink, Dlink, Totolink, among others, having a partial control centralized wireless networks using the Wireless Lan Controller (WLC) of the Cisco brand. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | En este caso de estudio, se realizará un análisis para la implementación de una red CAPsMAN MikroTik en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Provincial de Los Ríos la cual se realiza con la finalidad de saber si es factible su implementación y en que podría aportar al fácil manejo y administración de la información en el área de sistemas de la institución y las ventajas y desventajas frente al manejo actual del acceso al internet por parte de los usuarios. El Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de la Provincia de los Ríos, es una institución pública que tiene como objetivo proponer y realizar planes, programas y proyectos, que aseguren el desarrollo socio-económico y productivo de la Provincia de Los Ríos y el País (GADPLR, s.f.), esta institución cuenta con alrededor de 500 empleados, por lo cual es muy importante que dichos empleados se mantengan conectados a internet para una buena fluidez en los procesos de información que se generan en la institución a diario. Dicha institución actualmente cuenta con conexión a internet, esta conexión se divide en tres las cuales son: fibra óptica para la red troncal, cable de cobre categoría 6A y una red inalámbrica en 2.4 GHz para la difusión del internet a los usuarios y oficinas dentro del edificio central dando un 80% de cobertura al mismo, la cobertura inalámbrica se maneja con equipos de la marca Ubiquiti con tecnología Unifi, y en algunas oficinas Routers caseros de distintas marcas como son Tplink, Dlink, Totolink, entre otros, teniendo un control parcialmente centralizado de las redes inalámbricas utilizando el Wireless Lan Controller (WLC) de la marca Cisco. | es_ES |
