| dc.description | VIII. SUMMARY The present study was carried out in La Finca "La Ilusión", located in Km 6 ½, Vía Mata de Cacao, Febres Cordero Parish - Babahoyo Canton - Los Ríos Province. Seeds selected from two varieties of pepper were used as experimental material. The treatments and sub-treatments were constituted by the plant spacings of 0.50 m between plants x 0,80 m between rows; 0.60 m between plants x 0.80 m between rows and 0.70 m between plants x 0.80 m between rows and varieties of aji jalapeno and red habanero. In the present investigation, the experimental design called Divided Parcels was used, with three treatments (spacing of seeds), two sub-treatments (chili varieties) and three replications. To estimate the effects of treatments and sub treatments, the Tukey test was used at 5% probability. For the normal development of the crop, all necessary work was carried out, such as substrate preparation for seedlings, soil preparation, seedling transplantation, weed control, phytosanitary control, fertilization, irrigation and harvesting. Plant height, days at flowering, days at harvest, number of fruits per plant, length and diameter of the fruit, average fruit weight, yield of the crop and economic analysis were taken to estimate the results. From the results presented, it was determined that in the variable plant height, from the 20 days, the average planting distance of 0.50 was greater between plants x 0.80 m between rows, later on after 40 days Was recorded in the distance of 0.60 between plants x 0.80 m. Between rows; The red haban red variety bloomed with the planting distance of 0.70 between plants x 0.80 m and was harvested late with a distance of 0.50 between plants x 0.80 m between rows; The distance of 0.60 between plants x 0.80 m between row, obtained greater number of fruits per plant; In the length and diameter of fruit, it was obtained greater average with jalapeño variety with the distance of planting of 0.50 between plants x 0,80 m between rows; The weight of the fruit was higher with the planting distance of 0.60 between plants x 0.80 m between row, in the red habanero variety, while the highest yield was for the distance of 0.50 between plants x 0.80 m between rows with the red habanero variety and in the economic analysis all treatments and sub treatments were profitable, standing out the planting distance of 0.50 m between plants x 0.80 between rows of the red habanero variety with the largest Net profit of $ 1905,38. | es_ES |

RESUMEN El presente estudio se realizó en él La Finca “La Ilusión”, ubicada en el Km 6 ½, Vía Mata de Cacao, Parroquia Febres Cordero - Cantón Babahoyo - Provincia de Los Ríos. Como material experimental se utilizaron semillas seleccionadas de dos variedades de ají. Los tratamientos y subtratamientos estuvieron constituidos por los distanciamientos de siembra de 0,50 m entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras; 0,60 m entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras y 0,70 m entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras y variedades de ají jalapeño y habanero rojo. En la presente investigación se empleó el Diseño experimental denominado Parcelas Divididas, con tres tratamientos (distanciamientos de siembra), dos subtratamientos (variedades de ají) y tres repeticiones. Para estimar los efectos de los tratamientos y subtratamientos se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 5 % de probabilidad. Para el normal desarrollo del cultivo se efectuaron todas las labores necesarias, tales como preparación de sustrato para almácigo, preparación de terreno, trasplante de almácigo, control de malezas, control fitosanitario, fertilización, riego y cosecha. Para estimar los resultados se tomaron los datos de altura de planta, días a la floración, días a la cosecha, número de frutos por planta, largo y diámetro del fruto, peso promedio de fruto, rendimiento del cultivo y análisis económico. Por los resultados expuestos se determinó que en la variable altura de planta, a partir de los 20 días se obtuvo mayor promedio en la distancia de siembra de 0,50 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras, posteriormente a partir de los 40 días se registró en la distancia de 0,60 entre plantas x 0,80 m. entre hileras; la variedad de ají habano rojo floreció en mayor tiempo con la distancia de siembra de 0,70 entre plantas x 0,80 m y se cosechó tardíamente con la distancia de 0,50 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras; la distancia de 0,60 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hilera, obtuvo mayor número de frutos por planta; en el largo y diámetro de fruto, se logró mayor promedio con variedad jalapeño con la distancia de siembra de 0,50 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras; el peso del fruto se mostró con mayor promedio con la distancia de siembra de 0,60 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hilera, en la variedad habanero rojo, mientras que el mayor rendimiento fue para la distancia de 0,50 entre plantas x 0,80 m entre hileras con la variedad habanero rojo y en el análisis económico todos los tratamientos y subtratamientos fueron rentables, destacándose la distancia de siembra de 0,50 m entre plantas x 0,80 entre hileras de la variedad habanero rojo con el mayor beneficio neto de $ 1905,38. | es_ES |
