| dc.description | Ecuador has an approximate 887 savings and credit cooperatives, so it is located in the second country with the largest number, the first cooperatives arose mainly in Guayaquil, then expanded throughout the country, these institutions are very important for the financing and development of the world as they not only help the poorest sectors but are also an engine of the economy. Hence the importance of its regulation, as of January 2013 the Savings and Credit Cooperatives Subsystem was controlled by the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy, which promotes compliance with prudential regulations and regulations, requiring its actions to be adjusted and internal processes to the new regulatory framework. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Ecuador cuenta con un aproximado de 887 cooperativas de ahorro y crédito, por lo que se ubica en el segundo país con mayor número, las primeras cooperativas surgieron principalmente en Guayaquil, luego fueron expandiéndose por todo el país, estas instituciones resultan ser muy importantes para el financiamiento y desarrollo del mundo ya que no sólo ayudan a los sectores más pobres, sino que son un motor de la economía. De ahí la importancia de su regulación, a partir de Enero del 2013 el Subsistema de Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito pasó a ser controlado por la Superintendencia de Economía Popular y Solidaria la misma que promueve el cumplimiento de disposiciones y normativas prudenciales requiriendo adecuar su accionar y procesos internos al nuevo marco regulatorio. | es_ES |
