| dc.description | In recent years there has been a great growth in the development and use of computer systems, whether small or large, the main function of a computer system is that it allows to process and store information thus reducing the quantities of manual processes, this way can increase the productivity and development of academic institutions and companies providing different types of services. As time goes by, the need to apply new technologies according to the technological advance is made present, this being an elementary contribution to help automate the processes that are carried out manually, which in many cases are tedious and do not give the expected results. This research work is related to a case study in the analysis to the integral academic system (SAI) of the Technical University of Babahoyo, the same that is subject to the research line; development of computer systems, for reasons that have been previously elaborated in the aforementioned institution, for the integral academic system that manages academic notes of the students, carries out online enrollment and other services, it is necessary to carry out an exhaustive analysis to identify their strengths, weaknesses and threats. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | En los últimos años se ha producido un gran crecimiento en el desarrollo y uso de sistemas informáticos ya sea en pequeña o gran dimensión, la función principal de un sistema informático es que permite procesar y almacenar información reduciendo así las cantidades de procesos manuales, de esta manera se puede aumentar la productividad y desarrollo de las instituciones académicas y empresas brindando diferentes tipos de servicios. A medida que pasa el tiempo se hace presente la necesidad de aplicar nuevas tecnologías de acuerdo al avance tecnológico, siendo este un aporte elemental para ayudar automatizar los procesos que son realizados manualmente, que en muchas ocasiones son tediosos y no se dan los resultados esperados. Este trabajo de investigación está relacionado a un estudio de caso en el análisis al sistema académico integral (SAI) de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, el mismo que está sujeta a la línea de investigación; desarrollo de sistemas informáticos, por motivo que se ha elaborado previamente en la institución antes mencionada, para el sistema académico integral que gestiona notas académicas de los alumnos, realiza matriculación en línea y demás servicios, se hace necesario realizar un análisis exhaustivo que permita identificar sus fortalezas, debilidades y amenazas. | es_ES |
