The benefits of compost in agricultural production describe the beneficial impact that the application of compost has on crops, such as the supply of nutrients to the soil and plants, the increase in biological activity and the positive impact on the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil. The information obtained was paraphrased, summarized and analyzed in order to obtain relevant information on the preparation and use of organic fertilizer "compost" in the soil application to improve agricultural production. From what was previously detailed, it was determined that the benefits of using organic compost fertilizer in agricultural production consist of improving the availability of nutrients in the soil, increasing biological activity and positive impact on the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil. The preparation of organic compost fertilizer is carried out with organic vegetable and animal waste from the field, with materials that are available in the preparation area, to reduce the investment cost and harvest time. In several crops to improve production, it is initially recommended to incorporate 3t/ha 2 months before sowing; The following year, instead of 3t/ha, 2.5 t should be incorporated, and in the third year only 2t/ha should be incorporated, where it then becomes 1t/ha, to maintain the cycle of decomposition and synthesis of the soil. The production of organic fertilizer compost is a technique used to increase and improve the quality of crops in tomato, pepper, onion, cucumber, among others. Its use in small quantities is capable of promoting physiological activities and stimulating the development of the plants.es_ES
