dc.descriptionThe commercial establishment "Marun" faces a difficulty that compromises its ability to evaluate the profitability of its operations during the year 2023. Currently, it lacks the necessary instruments to calculate this crucial indicator for small and medium-sized businesses. The absence of a proper registration system for sales by the MARUN business establishment is an obstacle that has affected the company for a long period. The fact that all sales are recorded in a notebook prevents obtaining a global view of sales values and, therefore, makes it difficult to measure the profitability and sales level of the business. The objective of this case study is to carry out an analysis of the sales level of the "Marun" warehouse in the Babahoyo canton, province of Los Ríos, using techniques and practices learned in the curriculum. In addition, a comparison of the values obtained in the analysis of the profits corresponding to the period 2023 will be made, reaching the respective conclusions. In this case study, the root cause analysis method was used to identify the factors that influence the level of sales of the "Marun" warehouse in the Babahoyo canton. This approach allowed us to examine in detail the origin of the problems that affect the business's sales, which have hindered its growth.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl establecimiento comercial "Marun" enfrenta una dificultad que compromete su capacidad para evaluar la rentabilidad de sus operaciones durante el año 2023. Actualmente, carece de los instrumentos necesarios para calcular este indicador crucial para las pequeñas y medianas empresas. La ausencia de un sistema de registro adecuado para las ventas del establecimiento comercial MARUN es un obstáculo que ha afectado a la empresa durante un período prolongado. El hecho de que todas las ventas se registren en un cuaderno impide obtener una visión global de los valores de las ventas y, por lo tanto, dificulta la medición de la rentabilidad y el nivel de ventas del negocio. El objetivo de este estudio de caso es realizar un análisis del nivel de ventas del almacén "Marun" en el cantón Babahoyo, provincia de Los Ríos, mediante técnicas y prácticas aprendidas en la malla curricular. Además, se realizará una comparación de los valores obtenidos en el análisis de las ganancias correspondientes al período 2023, llegando a las conclusiones respectivas. En este estudio de caso, se utilizó el método de análisis de causa raíz para identificar los factores que influyen en el nivel de ventas del almacén "Marun" en el cantón Babahoyo. Este enfoque permitió examinar detalladamente el origen de los problemas que afectan las ventas del negocio, los cuales han obstaculizado su crecimiento.es_ES
