Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is the most prevalent form of hematologic neoplasm divided into two categories, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin. The non-Hodgkin's lymphoma presented by the patient corresponds to the subtype of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma type B (which would become part of the 5% of the world population that suffers from it). It originates from cells of the peripheral region of the germinal centers or of the mantle region of the lymphoid follicles. Although non-Hodgkin's mantle cell lymphomas mainly affect lymph nodes and lymphoid tissues and in some cases invade the bone marrow and peripheral blood. This process, called leukemia, occurs in 35% of cases. With the traditional treatment, patients lived an average of 3 years, while median survival increased to 7 years for patients receiving the new treatment. With conventional treatments, median survival was 3 years, a figure that has increased to 7 years for patients receiving the new treatments. Through the realization of this case study we intend to apply the nursing care process. In order to solve the patient's needs, creating nursing diagnoses based on Marjory Gordon's functional patterns and implementing timely nursing care.es_ES
