| dc.description | The clinical case focuses on an older adult who suffers a Cerebrovascular accident (CVA), exposing the nursing care process. It addresses an exhaustive evaluation to identify neurological deficits and risk factors. An individualized care plan is developed that includes rehabilitation and the prevention of generating more complications. Nursing interventions focus on the control of vital signs, pain management, early mobilization and emotional support to the patient and his family. In addition, education is provided about the disease and the prevention measures to follow after hospital discharge. A follow-up is established to evaluate the patient's progression and adjust the care plan as necessary. In summary, the case highlights the importance of comprehensive and personalized nursing care to promote recovery and improve the quality of life of older adults. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El caso clínico se centra en un adulto mayor que sufre un accidente cerebrovascular (ACV), exponiendo el proceso de atención de enfermería. Aborda una evaluación exhaustiva para identificar déficits neurológicos y factores de riesgo. Se desarrolla un plan de cuidados individualizado que incluye la rehabilitación y la prevención de que genere más complicaciones. Las intervenciones de enfermería se centran en el control de signos vitales, el manejo del dolor, la movilización temprana y el apoyo emocional al paciente y su familia. Además, se brinda educación sobre la enfermedad y las medidas de prevención a seguir después del alta hospitalaria. Se establece un seguimiento para evaluar la progresión del paciente y ajustar el plan de cuidados según sea necesario.
