| dc.description | Patient, a 35-year-old male and a merchant by profession, presented with acute symptoms related to plantar fasciitis in the right foot, evidenced by an initial score of 8 on the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) to assess pain intensity. A treatment approach focused on relieving pain and improving functionality was implemented. This approach included physiotherapy sessions that specifically addressed the plantar fascia and the Achilles tendon through stretching techniques, along with exercises aimed at strengthening the muscles of the lower extremities. Additionally, the use of kinesiotape was integrated as an integral part of the treatment to provide additional support. As the treatment progressed, a marked decrease in pain intensity was observed, reaching a final score of 3 on the VAS scale at the end of the treatment period. These results highlight the effectiveness of physiotherapy and the interventions applied in addressing plantar fasciitis, allowing the patient to improve his quality of life and reintegrate into his daily activities. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Paciente de 35 años, comerciante de profesión, acudió con síntomas agudos asociados a la fascitis plantar en el pie derecho, caracterizados por una puntuación inicial alta de 8 en la Escala Visual Analógica (EVA) para evaluar la intensidad del dolor. Se diseñó un plan de tratamiento enfocado en aliviar el dolor y mejorar la funcionalidad. Este plan incluyó sesiones de fisioterapia que abordaban específicamente la fascia plantar y el tendón de Aquiles mediante técnicas de estiramiento, junto con ejercicios destinados a fortalecer los músculos de las extremidades inferiores. Además, se incorporó el uso de kinesiotape como parte integral del tratamiento para proporcionar soporte adicional. Conforme avanzaba el tratamiento, se evidenció una disminución notable en la intensidad del dolor, alcanzando una puntuación final de 3 en la escala de EVA al concluir el período de tratamiento. Estos resultados resaltan la eficacia de la fisioterapia y las intervenciones aplicadas para tratar la fascitis plantar, lo que permitió al paciente mejorar su calidad de vida y reintegrarse a sus actividades diarias. | es_ES |
