This research project will provide details about poor ergonomics and its effect on visual health. Specifically, it aims to identify how poor ergonomics affects the visual acuity of Seventh 'A' Accounting students. This study is a quantitative descriptive correlational cross-sectional study lasting 4 months with a sample of 30 Accounting students. With the detailed review of each of the surveys carried out, data was obtained from the students of Seventh Accounting “A” obtaining a total of 30 valid surveys, where 3 closed questions were taken based on the objectives where it is evident that 24% present ardor and redness, 23% for eye fatigue and headache, 20% blurred vision and 10% sensation of foreign bodies. Visual ergonomic factors 70% say that poor lighting, among other things, affects visual acuity and 30% say it does not. Pauses and rests: 60% do not take breaks, focus exercises or blinking every 5 to 10 minutes for every hour, 40% do take breaks and focus and blink exercises. On the other hand, we have an answer to whether he has myopia, giving the answer to 100% of those surveyed. In the study, it was identified that poor posture, time and visual ergonomic factors are more frequent during their study hours, giving evidence that they have myopia at its highest value.es_ES
