dc.descriptionThe present research work focused on the study of compliance with the ESAMyN regulations at the Martín Icaza General Hospital, emphasizing the prenatal components and breastfeeding, a very important topic that today the health system is prioritizing, the objective of the research was to analyze compliance with the prenatal component as an indicator of the ESAMYN Regulations at the Martin Icaza General Hospital. The methodology used in the research was the quantitative approach, basic, field, descriptive, prospective and transversal. A systematic and non-participant observation was carried out to collect data on compliance with the prenatal component of the Regulations. A finite sample was used that included all health personnel and all pregnant women who received prenatal care at the hospital during the study period. The research techniques and instruments included a structured observation guide to evaluate prenatal care and the review of pregnant women's medical records. It is concluded that compliance with the prenatal component of the ESAMYN Regulations at the Martín Icaza General Hospital varies according to different aspects evaluated, with areas of satisfactory compliance, but also areas of deficiency. The importance of implementing corrective actions to improve compliance is highlighted, including continuous training for health personnel, promotion of community participation and regular supervision by health authorities.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo investigativo se centró en el estudio del cumplimiento de la normativa ESAMyN en el Hospital General Martín Icaza haciendo énfasis en los componentes prenatal y lactancia materna, tema muy importante que hoy en día el sistema de salud está priorizando, el objetivo de la investigación fue analizar el cumplimiento del componente prenatal como indicador de la Normativa ESAMYN en el Hospital General Martin Icaza. La metodología utilizada en la investigación, fue el enfoque cuantitativo, de carácter básico, de campo, descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. Se realizó una observación sistemática y no participante para recopilar datos sobre el cumplimiento del componente prenatal de la Normativa. Se utilizó una muestra finita que incluyó a todo el personal de salud y a todas las mujeres gestantes que recibieron atención prenatal en el hospital durante el período de estudio. Las técnicas e instrumentos de investigación incluyeron una guía de observación estructurada para evaluar la atención prenatal y la revisión de historias clínicas de las gestantes. Se concluye que, el cumplimiento del componente prenatal de la Normativa ESAMYN en el Hospital General Martín Icaza varía según diferentes aspectos evaluados, con áreas de cumplimiento satisfactorio, pero también áreas de deficiencia. Se destaca la importancia de implementar acciones correctivas para mejorar el cumplimiento, incluyendo capacitación continua para el personal de salud, promoción de la participación comunitaria y supervisión regular por parte de autoridades sanitarias.es_ES
