| dc.description | Currently, the "Holger Montenegro Molina" Educational Unit of the Buena Fe Canton faces significant challenges in the development of comprehensive reading in children in third grade of basic education. Improving this skill is crucial not only for students' academic success, but also for their future personal and professional development. Key strategies have been identified to address these challenges, including the implementation of innovative approaches that foster a love of reading and promote critical thinking and analytical skills. In addition, we will seek to integrate comprehensive reading in all areas of the school curriculum, recognizing its transversal importance in learning. The active participation of the educational community, including parents, teachers and staff, is essential in this process of continuous improvement. The justification for these strategies is based on the need to improve academic performance, prepare children for their academic and professional future, and promote a love of reading. By addressing these challenges and promoting the development of reading comprehension, the "Holger Montenegro Molina" Educational Unit seeks to guarantee quality and equitable education for all children. | es_ES |

La mejora de esta habilidad es crucial no solo para el éxito académico de los estudiantes, sino también para su desarrollo personal y profesional futuro. Se han identificado estrategias clave para abordar estos desafíos, incluida la implementación de enfoques innovadores que fomenten el amor por la lectura y promuevan el pensamiento crítico y la capacidad de análisis. Además, se buscará integrar la lectura comprensiva en todas las áreas del currículo escolar, reconociendo su importancia transversal en el aprendizaje.
