| dc.description.abstract | El cultivo de arroz es fundamental para la seguridad alimentaria y la economía de Ecuador, pero la presencia del nematodo M. graminicola representa un desafío en el cantón Urdaneta. Este estudio propone evaluar la incidencia y distribución del nematodo para comprender su impacto en el cultivo de arroz. Se plantea la hipótesis de que la presencia de M. graminicola afecta el rendimiento del arroz en el cantón. El estudio incluye una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura sobre la biología del nematodo, sus síntomas y daños, así como los sistemas de producción de arroz.
