The result was that the families that are dedicated to raising family pigs currently carry out deworming, vitaminization and as the main source of food they use the method of a mixed system such as the rejection of bananas and Balanced, their farms do not They were found in a good condition since due to the rains they were destroyed little by little, this was corroborated with transparency in the evidence within the surveys that were carried out on them that they do have a correct health schedule, a mixed diet, and that their establishments are not in good condition. This study, which was carried out in the La Unión Parish, Babahoyo Canton, made it possible to identify the main deficiencies of this productive process and from them some intervention strategies can be applied to overcome and improve them.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa crianza de cerdos familiares significa un aporte de ingresos económicos además es una fuente de alimento para los productores, por lo que es necesario prestar más atención a la seguridad sanitaria de los animales de estas familias y de los consumidores del producto final originarios de los mercados aledaños a las explotaciones porcinas. El objetivo de este trabajo es diagnosticar la sostenibilidad de la crianza de cerdos familiar en la parroquia La Unión cantón Babahoyo. De igual forma, promover a la capacitación de los criadores de cerdos para que puedan aplicar los conocimientos aprendidos. El presente proyecto de estudio que se realizó fue utilizando herramientas para la obtención de los datos de información por medio de encuestas que se les realizo a 40 familias productoras de cerdos, en varios sectores que conforman la Parroquia La Unión los cuales podemos mencionar como La Petra, La Hacienda La Clementina, El Guabito, La Clara, Botón de Oro, La Puntilla, San Pedro, 25 de Diciembre, 5 Esquinas, Delia Cristina, en donde se levantó la información de las cuales estas se dedican a la crianza de cerdos familiar. Se obtuvo como resultado que las familias que se dedican a la crianza de cerdos familiar, actualmente si realizan desparasitaciones, vitaminizacion y como principal fuente de alimentación se utiliza el método de un sistema mixto como es el de rechazos de plátanos y Balanceado, sus criaderos no se encontraron en un buen estado ya que por causa de las lluvias se fueron destruyendo poco a poco, esto se lo fue corroborado con transparencia en las evidencias dentro de las encuestas que se les realizo que si llevan un correcto cronograma sanitario, una alimentación mixta, y que sus establecimientos no encuentran en un buen estado. Este estudio que se realizó en la Parroquia La Unión, Cantón Babahoyo permitió identificar las principales deficiencias de este proceso productivo y a partir de ellas se pueden aplicar algunas estrategias de intervención para poder superarlas y mejorarlas.es_ES
