| dc.description | The current case study based on the importance of organic fertilizers in cocoa cultivation, in which the objective was determined to describe the importance of organic fertilizers in cocoa cultivation. As for the methodology, it was based on a qualitative study with a descriptive approach in which it was developed through the collection of all types of information, carrying out a detailed investigation on the different free access web pages, scientific articles, degree theses, sources and bibliographic documentation available on different digital platforms. In the results, the detailed evaluation of various compost sources revealed that the compost made from cocoa shells presents high efficiency as an organic fertilizer for cocoa cultivation, this compost not only provides essential nutrients, but also improves retention of water and soil structure. In conclusion, the adaptability of these fertilizers to the different stages of cocoa development demonstrates their positive impact on the performance of trees and cocoa production. Organic fertilizers not only supply essential nutrients, but also contribute to improving the structure of the cocoa. soil and suppress weeds. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El actual estudio de caso basado en la importancia de los abonos orgánicos en el cultivo de cacao, en el cual se determinó como objetivo, describir la importancia de los abonos orgánicos en el cultivo de cacao. En cuanto a la metodología, se basó en un estudio cualitativo con enfoque descriptivo en el que se desarrolló a través de la recopilación de todo tipo de información, realizando una detallada investigación en las distintas páginas web de libre acceso, artículos científicos, tesis de grado, fuentes y documentaciones bibliográficas disponibles en distintas plataformas digitales. En los resultados, la evaluación detallada de diversas fuentes de compost reveló que el compost elaborado a partir de cáscaras de cacao presenta una alta eficiencia como abono orgánico para el cultivo de cacao, este compost no solo aporta nutrientes esenciales, sino que también mejora la retención de agua y la estructura del suelo. En conclusión, la adaptabilidad de estos abonos a las diferentes etapas de desarrollo del cacao demuestra su impacto positivo en el rendimiento de los árboles y la producción de cacao, los abonos orgánicos no solo suministran nutrientes esenciales, sino que también contribuyen a mejorar la estructura del suelo y suprimen malezas. | es_ES |
