| dc.description | The main objective of this case study entitled "Past due portfolio management in the GAD Municipal del Cantón Baba during the period 2022-2023" is to analyze the factors that affect the past due portfolio in the GAD Municipal using research techniques to determine the consequences generated by late payments, this case study is also intended to recommend procedures to identify, monitor and recover outstanding amounts, as well as the adoption of measures to prevent and reduce delinquency in the future. In addition, methods were implemented to identify the current procedures that the Municipal Government is implementing in the collection management through an interview with the person in charge of the treasury department, as well as a comparative table to know the degree of compliance of payments by natural and legal persons of the canton Baba, and thus have funding for future projects and thus fulfill the obligation of the municipal government which is to improve the quality of life of the residents of the canton. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el presente caso de estudio titulado "Gestión de cartera vencida en el GAD Municipal del Cantón Baba durante el período 2022-2023" tiene como objetivo principal analizar los factores que afectan la cartera vencida en el GAD Municipal empleando técnicas de investigación para determinar las consecuencias que genera el retraso de pagos, este caso de estudio está destinado también en recomendar procedimientos para identificar, monitorear y recuperar los montos pendientes, así también como la adopción de medidas para prevenir y reducir la morosidad en el futuro. Además se implementaron métodos para identificar los procedimientos actuales que el GAD Municipal está implementando en la gestión de cobranzas mediante una entrevista con el encargado del departamento de tesorería, así también se realizó un cuadro comparativo para conocer el grado de cumplimiento de los pagos por parte de las personas naturales y jurídicas del cantón Baba, y así tener un financiamiento para proyectos futuros y de esta forma cumplir con la obligación del GAD municipal que es mejorar la calidad de vida de los residentes del cantón. | es_ES |
