| dc.description | The study focuses on analyzing the management of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems at Donatella S.A, a company located in the Guayas province during the 2023 period, and their impact on decision-making. The requirements of both standards were examined to identify areas of convergence and divergence, highlighting the importance of leadership, employee participation, and continuous improvement. Audit reports revealed positive observations, areas for improvement, and non-conformities, such as lack of integration between systems and deficiencies in staff training. In response, the implementation of an inventory management system that meets quality standards and contributes to cost optimization was proposed. It was concluded that improving integration between systems, training staff, and establishing a system for tracking and reviewing are crucial to strengthening the effectiveness of management systems and improving strategic decision-making at Donatella S.A. These recommendations aim to promote continuous improvement and excellence in management, enhancing the competitiveness and long-term success of the company in a dynamic and competitive business environment. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El estudio se centra en analizar la gestión de los sistemas de calidad ISO 9001 e ISO 14001 en Donatella S.A, una empresa ubicada en la provincia del Guayas durante el período 2023, y su impacto en la toma de decisiones. Se examinaron los requisitos de ambas normas para identificar áreas de convergencia y divergencia, destacando la importancia del liderazgo, la participación del personal y la mejora continua. Los informes de auditoría revelaron observaciones positivas, áreas de mejora y no conformidades, como la falta de integración entre los sistemas y deficiencias en la capacitación del personal. Como respuesta, se propuso la implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventario que cumpla con los estándares de calidad y contribuya a la optimización de costos operativos. Se concluyó que mejorar la integración entre los sistemas, capacitar al personal y establecer un sistema de seguimiento y revisión son cruciales para fortalecer la eficacia de los sistemas de gestión y mejorar la toma de decisiones estratégicas en Donatella S.A.
