| dc.description | In summary, the case study analyzes the need to design a computer system that uses geolocation technology to improve the security of the personnel of the Is@net company in the Montalvo canton. The Montalvo canton is a risk area, marked by high rates of criminal activity. This creates an environment hostile to any type of activity, including those related to technology and telecommunications. Internet workers, such as maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff, in these areas face a variety of threats, from theft and assault to kidnapping and extortion. The main objective of the case study is to design a computer system that uses geolocation technology to improve the security of Is@net personnel in the Montalvo Canton. The system would allow real-time monitoring of the location of employees, which would facilitate the detection of risk situations and the immediate response of the authorities. The case study adopts a mixed approach, combining qualitative and bibliographic research. Interviews with experts in the field of security in challenging situations will provide valuable qualitative perspective on information systems, their analysis and design. The literature review will be based on the analysis of existing literature related to security in similar environments. The results of the case study will be used to design a computer system that meets the specific requirements of Is@net. The system is expected to provide an effective solution to improve the security of company personnel in the Montalvo Canton. In particular, the case study addresses the following aspects: The importance of Designing Software with integration of other devices that provide security to company personnel.- The advantages of using geolocation and artificial intelligence technology to improve security.- The risks faced by internet workers in risk areas.- The results of the case study may be of interest to other companies that operate in risk areas and wish to verify some analysis based on the design of Security Management Software. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En resumen, el caso de estudio analiza la necesidad de diseñar un sistema informático que utilice tecnología de geolocalización para mejorar la seguridad del personal de la empresa Is@net en el cantón Montalvo. El cantón Montalvo es una zona de riesgo, marcada por altos índices de actividad criminal. Esto crea un ambiente hostil a cualquier tipo de actividad, incluidas las relacionadas con la tecnología y las telecomunicaciones. Los trabajadores de internet, como técnicos de mantenimiento, ingenieros y personal de soporte, en estas áreas enfrentan una variedad de amenazas, desde robo, asalto hasta secuestro y extorsión. El objetivo principal del caso de estudio es diseñar un sistema informático que utilice tecnología de geolocalización para mejorar la seguridad del personal de Is@net en el Cantón Montalvo. El sistema permitiría un seguimiento en tiempo real de la ubicación de los empleados, lo que facilitaría la detección de situaciones de riesgo y la respuesta inmediata de las autoridades. El caso de estudio adopta un enfoque mixto, combinando investigación cualitativa y bibliográfica. Las entrevistas con expertos en el campo de la seguridad en situaciones desafiantes proporcionarán una perspectiva cualitativa valiosa sobre los sistemas de información, su análisis y diseño. La revisión bibliográfica se basará en el análisis de la literatura existente relacionada con la seguridad en entornos similares. Los resultados del caso de estudio se utilizarán para diseñar un sistema informático que cumpla con los requisitos específicos de Is@net. El sistema se espera que brinde una solución efectiva para mejorar la seguridad del personal de la empresa en el Cantón Montalvo. En particular, el caso de estudio aborda los siguientes aspectos: La importancia de Diseñar Software con integración de otros dispositivos que permitan brindar seguridad al personal de empresas.- Las ventajas de utilizar la tecnología de geolocalización e inteligencia artificial para mejorar la seguridad.- Los riesgos a los que se enfrentan los trabajadores de internet en zonas de riesgo.- Los resultados del caso de estudio pueden ser de interés para otras empresas que operan en zonas de riesgo y deseen verificar algún análisis basado en diseño de Software de gestión de la seguridad. | es_ES |
