dc.descriptionThe objective of this study was to evaluate the preserved semen of the Gyr and Girolando breeds, determining the pH of the preserved semen in 0.25 ml straws in broodstock, mass motility, individual motility, sperm concentration and viability of preserved semen were also analyzed. According to the results obtained, it is said that results were obtained from the 0.25 ml straws with values such as the straw coming from the fulminant bull - Gyr was of the highest value of the Ph with 7, while that of the Girolando - Black Bull was of the lowest value with 5, As for the seminal quality of the cattle, we have as results that the straw from the Gyr-Jakua Master bull is 90% in its massal motility. 90% in its individual motility, 60% in its morphology and 80% in its viability, as for the straw from the Gyr-Fulminant bull, it was 75% massal motility, it was 75%, individual motility was 75%, morphology was 80% and viability was 85%, giving us lower results than the previous ones.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar el semen conservado de las razas Gyr y Girolando, determinando el Ph del semen conservado en pajillas de 0,25 ml en reproductores, tambien se analizo la motilidad masal, individual, concentración espermática y viabilidad del semen conservado. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos se dice que se obtuvieron resultados de las pajillas de 0,25 ml con valores como que la pajilla proveniente del toro fulminante- Gyr fue de la mayor valor del Ph con 7, mientras que la del Girolando- Black Bull fue de la menor valor con 5, en cuanto a la calidad seminal de los bovinos tenemos como resultados que de la pajilla proveniente del toro Gyr- Jakua Master es del 90% en su motilidad masal. El 90% en su motilidad indivual, en su morfología presento un 60% y en su viabilidad un 80%, en cuanto a la pajilla proveniente del toro Gyr- Fulminante fue de un 75% de motilidad masal fue del 75%, motilidad invidual del 75%, su morfología de un 80% y su viabilidad de un 85%, dándonos resultados menores a los anteriores.es_ES
