dc.descriptionThis study focuses on the evaluation of the viability to develop and implement a computer system that revolutionizes the administrative management of sales and orders to suppliers in the renowned restaurant "El Rincón Vegetariano" in the City of Babahoyo. The need to modernize and optimize processes in the field of restoration has become more relevant in a constantly evolving and competitive business environment. The traditional approach of keeping manual sales records and managing orders to suppliers in "El Rincón Vegetariano" faces obvious limitations in terms of efficiency and responsiveness. The absence of a computerized system prevents agile and accurate data management, which can result in human errors, delays in decision making, and lack of timely information for effective strategic planning. This lack of technology can negatively affect both the customer experience and the restaurant's ability to stay ahead of the industry. The fundamental purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of introducing a computer system that addresses these problems and improves the efficiency of administrative management. To achieve this, a comprehensive analysis will be carried out covering three key dimensions of feasibility: technical, financial and operational. Technical feasibility will examine the restaurant's ability to adopt modern technology and determine if the computer system integrates effectively with existing processes. Aspects such as the current technological infrastructure and possible technical challenges that could arise during implementation will be evaluated. The financial feasibility will focus on analyzing the costs associated with the development, implementation and maintenance of the computer system. This will include the initial investment in terms of software, hardware and staff training, as well as the projected benefits and savings over time. The operational feasibility will examine how the introduction of the computer system will impact daily procedures, the adaptation of the staff and the ability of the restaurant to face possible challenges. Strategies will be identified to minimize disruption during the transition and ensure smooth adoption of the new system. Modernizing internal processes through technology will not only improve operational efficiency, but will also allow the restaurant to remain competitive and provide a high-quality experience to its customers in an ever-evolving market.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste estudio se enfoca en la evaluación de la viabilidad para desarrollar e implementar un sistema informático que revolucione la gestión administrativa de ventas y pedidos a proveedores en el reconocido restaurante "El Rincón Vegetariano" de la Ciudad de Babahoyo. La necesidad de modernización y optimización de procesos en el ámbito de la restauración ha cobrado mayor relevancia en un entorno empresarial en constante evolución y competitividad. El enfoque tradicional de llevar registros manuales de ventas y gestionar pedidos a proveedores en "El Rincón Vegetariano" enfrenta limitaciones evidentes en términos de eficiencia y capacidad de respuesta. La ausencia de un sistema informático impide una gestión ágil y precisa de los datos, lo que puede resultar en errores humanos, retrasos en la toma de decisiones y falta de información oportuna para una planificación estratégica efectiva. Esta carencia tecnológica puede afectar negativamente tanto la experiencia del cliente como la capacidad del restaurante para mantenerse a la vanguardia de la industria. El propósito fundamental de este estudio es evaluar la factibilidad de introducir un sistema informático que aborde estas problemáticas y mejore la eficacia de la gestión administrativa. Para lograrlo, se llevará a cabo un análisis exhaustivo que abarca tres dimensiones clave de viabilidad: técnica, financiera y operativa. La viabilidad técnica examinará la capacidad del restaurante para adoptar tecnología moderna y determinar si el sistema informático se integra de manera efectiva con los procesos existentes. Se evaluarán aspectos como la infraestructura tecnológica actual y los posibles desafíos técnicos que podrían surgir durante la implementación. La viabilidad financiera se concentrará en analizar los costos asociados con el desarrollo, implementación y mantenimiento del sistema informático. Esto incluirá la inversión inicial en términos de software, hardware y formación del personal, así como los beneficios y ahorros proyectados a lo largo del tiempo. La viabilidad operativa examinará cómo la introducción del sistema informático impactará en los procedimientos diarios, la adaptación del personal y la capacidad del restaurante para enfrentar posibles desafíos. Se identificarán estrategias para minimizar las interrupciones durante la transición y garantizar una adopción fluida del nuevo sistema. La modernización de los procesos internos a través de la tecnología no solo mejorará la eficiencia operativa, sino que también permitirá al restaurante mantener su competitividad y proporcionar una experiencia de alta calidad a sus clientes en un mercado en constante evolución.es_ES
