The objective of this investigation was to analyze the impact that cyberjournalism has produced in traditional journalism in the year 2022 in the Quevedo canton. For this, a bibliographic analysis of different investigative sources was carried out, and a survey was carried out in the study area. As main results, it was possible to appreciate that the printed media provide consumers with a more physical and tangible medium. It is more professional and practical. Cyberjournalism in Ecuador has developed considerably in recent years, since the population's access to the Internet has also increased both in their homes and on mobile devices, which has also influenced the consumption of digital content, for which reason journalists have had to choose to develop digital content in order to reach their audience more efficiently. Finally, it was identified that as the main cyberjournalism strategies to be applied in Ecuador, journalists or content creators have to disseminate their news through different digital platforms, the most used being social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as such as the creation of YouTube channels, however, the veracity of certain information must be taken with caution, since, being easily accessible platforms, expectors are exposed to possible false news. Most of the respondents in a study are familiar with online journalism, but only partially, they also believe that it is more efficient than traditional journalism and highlight the ease of access and availability at all times as its advantages. However, the reliability of the sources is a concern, and current information needs to be verified.es_ES
