At present there are various systematic diseases that can affect the visual system, often causing the patient a loss of vision if the disease is not controlled in time, as is the case of thyroid-related disorders, since worldwide there are more than 60 % of people affected with said disease and 35% of people affected in their visual system by Graves- Basedow's Disease. Graves Basedow's disease results in exophthalmos, causing a risk to the patient's visual health since the eyeball tends to project out of the orbital cavity. Therefore, the present clinical case is based on the study of a 25-year-old patient who presented thyroid orbitopathy, thus developing a characteristic clinical picture with signs and symptoms of: blurred vision, exophthalmos, visual fatigue, blepharospasms, headaches, excessive dry eyes, etc. The objective of the study is to analyze the pathology presented, the possible causes, treatments and contribute to the improvement of the visual health of the 25- years-old patient. For which, physical, objective and complementary examinations were carried out; In addition to the information provided by the patient, in order to have a broad understanding of the case in order to obtain as much information as possible about the patient´s condition.es_ES
