| dc.description | Bronchitis is a pathology of the respiratory tract, characterized by being an inflammatory disease at the same time, it is noted for occurring more frequently in pediatric patients, this being one of the reasons for hospitalization in health centers. The present study was based on therapeutic intervention by the respiratory therapy professional; addressed to a 5-year-old female patient who arrived at the emergency area manifesting a clinical picture of productive cough from 5 days ago, respiratory distress and fever. The objective of this study was to establish the intervention of the respiratory therapist in the 5-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with the respiratory pathology of bronchitis after carrying out several studies. Finally, the treatment, monitoring and follow-up that was carried out in this clinical study, favored the fulfillment of the programmed objectives and at the same time a favorable response was obtained in the patient's clinic, taking nebulization as the best option for treatment, complemented with respirato | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La bronquitis es una patología del tracto respiratorio, caracterizada por ser una enfermedad inflamatoria a la vez es señalada por presentarse con mayor frecuencia en pacientes pediátricos siendo este uno de los motivos de hospitalización en centros de salud. El presente estudio se basó en la intervención terapéutica por parte del profesional de terapia respiratoria; dirigida a una paciente femenina de 5 años de edad que llego al área de emergencia manifestando un cuadro clínico de tos productiva de hace 5 días, dificultad respiratoria y fiebre. El objetivo de este estudio consistió en establecer la intervención del terapista respiratorio en la paciente femenina de 5 años que fue diagnosticado luego de la realización de varios estudios la patología respiratoria de bronquitis. Finalmente, el tratamiento, monitoreo y seguimiento que se efectuó en este estudio clínico, favoreció con el cumplimiento de los objetivos programados y a la vez se obtuvo una respuesta favorable en la clínica del paciente tomando a la nebulización como la mejor opción para el tratamiento, complementada con técnicas terapéuticas respiratorias como la Aceleración del Flujo Espiratorio e Insuflación manual. | es_ES |
