The purpose of the investigation is to review the document management process that the Office of the Administrative and Financial Vice President executes. The methodology used was descriptive with a qualitative approach. For this purpose, the research line was used: Administrative, Tax, Audit and Control Financial Management, as well as its respective research subline: Public and private companies and institutions, established within the framework of the Commerce Career. This dependency does not have a document management system, therefore an unofficial flow of document management processes has been established, with the sole purpose of guaranteeing the reception, organization, filing and search of documents that enable the agility of the processes. administrative and/or academic It is worth noting that the Office of the Vice-Rector for Finance on document management uses technological tools such as Mails, scanning and utility programs such as Excel, in addition to using electronic documentation validated by digital signature, which has a great impact on the environment and agility in procedures.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl Vicerrectorado Administrativo y Financiero forma parte integral de la estructura de gestión administrativa de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, y tiene bajo su responsabilidad unidades de apoyo como: Dirección de Planificación, Dirección Financiera, Dirección de Talento Humano, Dirección de Construcciones, Dirección Administrativa, Dirección de Tecnología y Sistema de Información. Actualmente se encuentra acertadamente dirigido por el Lcdo. Francisco Galarza Bravo, Msc. El propósito de la investigación es revisar el proceso de gestión documental que el Vicerrectorado Administrativo y Financiero ejecuta. La metodología que se empleó fue de tipo descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo. Para efecto de esto se empleó la línea de investigación: Gestión Financiera Administrativa, tributaria, auditoría y control, así como, su respectiva sublinea de investigación: Empresas e instituciones públicas y privadas, establecidas en el marco de la Carrera de Comercio. Esta dependencia no cuenta con un sistema de gestión documental, por lo que se ha establecido un flujo no oficial de procesos de gestión documental, con el único propósito de garantizar la recepción, organización, archivo y búsqueda de documentos que posibiliten la agilidad de los procesos administrativos y/o académicos. Se destaca que el Vicerrectorado Administrativo Financiero sobre la gestión documental, emplea herramientas tecnológicas como Mails, escaneo y programas utilitarios como Excel, además se emplea documentación electrónica validada mediante firma digital, lo que tiene un gran impacto en el medio ambiente y agilidad en trámites.es_ES
