| dc.description | The clinical case of a 47-year-old female patient with a medical diagnosis of thyroid gland cancer is presented. The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland that is located near the trachea at the base of the throat and has two right and left lobes. Objective: To improve the nutritional parameters of the patient. The nutritional status was evaluated through indicators, a nutritional diagnosis was made and after the informed consent of the approval to start the treatment, intervention was made with nutritional counseling and a 2352 kcal diet plan, it is still waiting to be transferred to another health unit for comprehensive treatment, a follow-up is maintained to evaluate the parameters and maintain the nutritional requirements of the patient. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Se presenta el caso clínico de una paciente de sexo femenino de 47 años de edad con diagnóstico médico de cáncer en glándula tiroides. La tiroides es una glándula que se encuentra ubicada cerca de la tráquea en la base de garganta, tiene forma de mariposa y posee dos lóbulos derecho e izquierdo. Objetivo: Mejorar los parámetros nutricionales de la paciente. Se evaluó el estado nutricional por medio de indicadores, se realizó un diagnóstico nutricional y posterior al consentimiento informado de la aprobación para iniciar el tratamiento, se intervino con la consejería nutricional y un plan dietético de 2352 kcal, se continua en espera de transferirla a otra unidad de salud para tratamiento integral, se mantiene un seguimiento para evaluar los parámetros y mantener los requerimientos nutricionales de la paciente. | es_ES |
