| dc.description | Currently, IBM Cloud and Alibaba Cloud platforms have been very helpful for public and private institutions and companies, so thanks to them it has been possible to face future problems such as data management, computer security and quality control. The interest of this research project is to conduct a study of the theoretical foundations of why these technologies are important, services, features, tools, security provided by each of these platforms in the cloud. This problem statement focused on companies that do not want to invest in cloud infrastructure because if they do not do so will not allow them to make good business decisions. The overall objective was to perform a comparative analysis between the IBM Cloud and Alibaba Cloud platforms themselves, where quantitative research using the online survey instrument was used. The results obtained from the surveys conducted were analyzed to have valuable information on whether they have knowledge of the platforms in general. In conclusion, the comparative analysis between IBM and Alibaba platforms, stands out for its variety of cloud services, where the characteristics of these platforms help companies to have a better performance in decision making. In this sense, it is expected that the results obtained will allow companies to make informed decisions about which cloud platform is the most suitable for their objectives and needs, and how they can take full advantage of its features and tools. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad las plataformas IBM Cloud y Alibaba Cloud han sido de mucha ayuda para instituciones públicas, privadas y empresas por lo que gracias a ellas se ha podido hacer frente a problemas futuros como la gestión de los datos, la seguridad informática y el control de calidad. El interés de este proyecto de investigación es realizar un estudio de los fundamentos teóricos de porque son importantes estas tecnologías, los servicios, características, herramientas, la seguridad que brinda cada una de estas plataformas en la nube. Este planteamiento del problema se enfocó en las empresas que no quieren invertir en la infraestructura de la nube ya que si no lo hacen no les permitirá tomar decisiones acertadas en los negocios. El objetivo general fue realizar un análisis comparativo entre las plataformas IBM Cloud y Alibaba Cloud en sí, donde se utilizó una investigación cuantitativa con el instrumento de encuestas en línea. Los resultados obtenidos en las encuestas realizadas fueron analizados para tener información valiosa sobre si tienen conocimientos de las plataformas en general. En conclusión, el análisis comparativo entre las plataformas IBM y Alibaba, se destaca por su variedad de servicios en la nube, donde las características de estas plataformas ayudan a las empresas a tener un mejor desempeño en la toma de decisiones. En este sentido, se espera que los resultados obtenidos permitan a las empresas tomar decisiones informadas sobre cuál plataforma en la nube es la más adecuada para sus objetivos y necesidades, y cómo pueden aprovechar al máximo sus características y herramientas. | es_ES |
