The present case study is based on a 25-year-old female patient with vaginal tearing due to intercourse, using the reason for consultation and the patient's personal, family, and social history as methodology. Also evidencing the anamnesis, clinical examination, and information from complementary tests performed. Vaginal tearing, which often occurs during intercourse, ultimately comes down to a lack of adequate lubrication. Lubrication is critical to enjoying vaginal intercourse and is often achieved through lots of foreplay and hookup prior to intercourse. Without it, or if you've had particularly rough sex, your vagina may experience small tears or cuts due to friction pulling on the skin. Pain after intercourse can be due to many causes, if the pain is immediate after sex it is likely due to tears. Immediate aches or pains, swollen skin, and pain afterward could mean a vaginal tear. The objective of the present work is detailed in the application of Marjory Gordon's functional patterns, the observation of complementary tests and the definitive diagnosis provided by the physician in charge; which allowed the execution of the nursing care process and thus determine the nursing interventions to be followed, using the NANDA, NOC and NIC taxonomies. In this way, the timely follow-up by the physician and nurses of the pregnant heroin user was evidenced from her admission to the hospital until her recovery process and medical discharge. The patient was very cooperative, thus allowing evolutionary results during the procedures and nursing care.es_ES
