| dc.description | The objective of this study is to determine whether Toxoplasma gondii oocysts are present in cats in the Camilo Ponce parish of the city of Babahoyo, both before and after the family has accepted pets as members that are considered part of the family, as well as in dogs. They are a crucial component of their daily environment, of the care that goes into raising this species, such as food, health and welfare, all for the sake of your pet leading a respectable life. Through the study conducted in the city of Babahoyo parish Camilo Ponce on the observation of Toxoplasma gondii oocysts, no incidence of this parasite was found, however, it is recommended to use a more efficient method to obtain better results. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de este estudio es determinar si los ooquistes de Toxoplasma gondii están presentes en gatos de la parroquia Camilo Ponce de la ciudad de Babahoyo, tanto antes como después de que la familia haya aceptado mascotas como miembros que se consideran parte de ella, así como en perros. Son un componente crucial de su entorno cotidiano, de los cuidados que se emplean en la crianza de esta especie, como la alimentación, la salud y el bienestar, todo en aras de que tu mascota lleve una vida respetable. Mediante el estudio realizado en la ciudad de Babahoyo parroquia Camilo Ponce sobre la observación de ooquistes Toxoplasma gondii no se encontró incidencia de este parasito, sin embrago se recomienda usar un método más eficiente para obtener mejores resultados. | es_ES |
