The present experimental work was carried out in the Municipal slaughterhouse of Babahoyo, located in the southeast area of the province of the Province of Los Ríos, which has an altitude of 8 meters above sea level and occupies a territorial extension of 174.6 km2; whose South Latitude is 46 "and West Longitude 97° 27" with an average annual rainfall of 1800 mm. The main objective of this investigative work was to determine the incidence of bovine tuberculosis during slaughter. Descriptive, non-parametric and observational methods were used. The variables evaluated were affected organs, breeds, sex, age, and place of origin of the bovines. Chi-square analysis was used with the statistical software InfoStat. During the inspection carried out, no positive cases of bovine tuberculosis were found, but different findings of other diseases were made, such as abscesses, generalized abscesses and pulmonary petechiae, which had an incidence of 10.56%. Regarding the breed that presented the highest incidence, it was in bovines of the Holstein breed with 10.56%. According to the sex of the slaughtered animals, it was determined that the males are those that present a higher percentage of incidence with 6.25% where 231 bovines were sampled. The highest number of incidence according to age in bovines destined for slaughter occurs in bulls of 1-2 years, the same that has an incidence of 10.56%. Regarding the origin of the slaughtered animals, it is shown that the highest number of incidence is 1.28% of the Cantons of San Miguel and Caluma belonging to the Province of Bolívares_ES
