| dc.description | The objective of this case study is to examine the management and control of the Jaher Warehouse Inventory. To achieve this, the concepts of inventory control and its types will be defined using bibliographic sources and referencing the corresponding authors. The control processes of the same will be described, emphasizing its importance for the protection of the inventory and its impact on the achievement of the objectives of the company. In addition, internal problems that can affect inventory control are highlighted, defining its components and their importance for a correct structuring, implementation and execution of the processes of stored goods. The need to establish objectives and policies that guide the company's inventory control environment is highlighted, and that contribute to generating effective risk assessment mechanisms to develop control activities that ensure safe and reliable inventory management. It is essential to promote a culture of inventory control in the company, supported by adequate information and communication of these activities, and the periodic supervision of inventory control processes. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo examinar el manejo y control del Inventario del Almacén Jaher. Para lograr esto, se definirán los conceptos de control de inventarios y sus tipos utilizando fuentes bibliográficas y referenciando a los autores correspondientes. Se describirán los procesos de control del mismo, haciendo resaltar su importancia para la protección del inventario y su impacto en el logro de los objetivos de la empresa. Además, se destacan los problemas internos que pueden afectar el control de inventario, definiendo sus componentes y su importancia para una correcta estructuración, implementación y ejecución de los procesos de los bienes almacenados. Se resalta la necesidad de establecer objetivos y políticas que orienten el ambiente de control del inventario de la empresa, y que contribuyan a generar mecanismos de evaluación de riesgos efectivos para desarrollar actividades de control que aseguren un manejo seguro y confiable del inventario. Es fundamental fomentar una cultura de control de inventario en la empresa, apoyada en una adecuada información y comunicación de estas actividades, y en la supervisión periódica de los procesos de control del inventario. | es_ES |
