The investigation responds to the variable of pathologies not detected before mortem in bovines slaughtered in the municipal slaughterhouse of the City of Babahoyo, with the objective of determining said diseases in the post mortem analysis, keeping records of variables such as breed, sex and origin. The methodology that was carried out was through a quantitative and inductive study, with a descriptive scope and a cross-sectional approach with a non-experimental and observational design. The variables developed were age, precedence, sex and race. Chi square analysis was implemented to tabulate the data obtained. The main diseases detected were hepatic fasciola with 5.8%, liver abscess with 3.8%, cirrhosis with 2.8%, liver, liver with telangiectasia 2%, pulmonary adhesion 0.4% and in organs with Shared pathologies were liver with telangiectasia and fasciola with 0.4% while cirrhosis and liver abscess was 0.2%, this being the lowest percentage.es_ES
