| dc.description | This study was carried out in the Baba cantón of the province in Los Ríos, Ecuador; with the application of the type of descriptive, non-experimental research with the support of descriptive inferential statistics. where, through the survey methodology, the information regarding the use of agricultural machinery and implements in Production Units of short-cycle crops in the year 2023 was collected, which after being statistically processed allowed detailing the social aspects, such as gender, marital status and academic level of the producer; secondly, the agricultural technical aspects were described, such as the characterization, classification and establishment of reliability and finally, the degree of satisfaction with the use of existing agricultural machinery in the aforementioned canton was evaluated. It was determined that the short-cycle crops that are planted are mainly rice, followed by corn and soybeans. The agricultural machinery and implements used in the area are the tractor, combine harvester, walking tractor, boom sprayer, harrow, fertilizer spreader, plow, motorized backpack, motorized pump, roadheader and seeder with a very low level of technical advice; including that those with the highest use exceed 90% of rent, due to the fact that the surface of the production units is less than 5 ha or rented. Finally, it is determined that the producers are satisfied with the current cost of providing machinery services and for production work. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio se realizó en el cantón Baba de la provincia en Los Ríos, Ecuador; con la aplicación del tipo de investigación descriptiva, no experimental con el apoyo de la estadística inferencial descriptiva. donde a través de la metodología de la encuesta se recopiló la información la información referente al uso de la maquinaria e implementos agrícolas en Unidades de Producción de cultivos de ciclo corto en el año 2023, que después de ser procesado estadísticamente permitió detallar los aspectos sociales, como género, estado civil y nivel académico del productor; en segundo lugar se describió los aspectos técnicos agrícolas, como la caracterización, clasificación y establecimiento de la fiabilidad y finalmente, se evaluó el grado de satisfacción sobre el uso de la maquinaria agrícola existente en el mencionado cantón. Se determinó que los cultivos de ciclo corto que se siembran son arroz principalmente, seguido de maíz y soya. La maquinaria e implementos agrícolas usados en la zona son el tractor, cosechadora, motocultor, fumigadora de aguilón, rastra, abonadora, arado, mochila a motor, bomba a motor, rozadora y sembradora con muy bajo nivel de asesoramiento técnico; incluyendo que las de mayor uso superan el 90% de alquiler, debido a que las superficies de las unidades de producción son menores a 5 ha o alquiladas. Finalmente se determina que los productores están satisfechos con el costo actual de la prestación de los servicios de la maquinaria y para las labores de producción. | es_ES |
