| dc.description | The proper management of accounts payable is crucial for the economic and financial management of companies, especially in the agricultural sector. The lack of adequate management can generate additional expenses and late fees, which in turn could cause a cash shortage in the company and make financial planning difficult. The present case study focuses on analyzing the internal control of accounts payable of Agrícola Agro Fértil Productos Químicos para el Campo S.A. during the year 2021, with the aim of identifying weaknesses in the management process. The lack of control policies can lead to serious economic losses, making this process essential for financial planning. A mixed approach was used to analyze and collect quantitative and qualitative data on the company's accounts payable. A field investigation was conducted to obtain information directly from the company's legal representative through an interview. The results of the study show the need to improve internal control in the management of accounts payable and the handling of financial obligations to avoid additional financial costs and reduce its net profit margin. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El correcto manejo de las cuentas por pagar es crucial para la gestión económica-financiera de las empresas, especialmente en el sector agrícola. La falta de una adecuada gestión puede generar gastos adicionales e intereses moratorios, lo cual a su vez podría ocasionar escasez de efectivo en la empresa y dificultar su planificación financiera. El presente estudio de caso se enfoca en analizar el control interno de las cuentas por pagar de la Agrícola Agro Fértil Productos Químicos para el Campo S.A. durante el año 2021, con el objetivo de identificar debilidades en el proceso de gestión. La falta de políticas de control puede llevar a pérdidas económicas graves, lo que hace que este proceso sea esencial para la planificación financiera. Se empleó un enfoque mixto para analizar y recopilar datos cuantitativos y cualitativos sobre las cuentas por pagar de la compañía. Se realizó una investigación de campo para obtener información directamente del representante legal de la empresa a través de una entrevista. Los resultados del estudio muestran la necesidad de mejorar el control interno en la gestión de cuentas por pagar y el manejo de sus obligaciones financieras para evitar costos financieros adicionales y reducir su margen de beneficio neto. | es_ES |
