dc.descriptionThe media are considered powerful efficient communication tools that allow them to be informed of everything that happens in the whole world, complying with the regulations that correspond to them, to deliver information that is real, objective, honest, precise, essential functions that highlight the good journalism. The objective of this research is to determine how misinformation in the media affects public opinion, being free expression media, some of them transgress and manipulate information obeying the interests of third parties, to change public opinion, what which lacks their professional ethics, obtaining the risk of being sanctioned, as required by law in article 362 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, which indicates that the dissemination of false news may incur legal sanctions. The project that is developed has a mixed, qualitative and quantitative approach because it allows the application of methods, types of research and techniques that collect, select and analyze the data that will be obtained throughout the study to subsequently make the corresponding observations and present the final results. that will be supported based on the stated objectiveses_ES

dc.description.abstractLos medios de comunicación, son consideradas poderosas herramientas eficientes de comunicación que permiten estar informados de todo lo que sucede en el mundo entero, cumpliendo con la normativa que les corresponde entregar una información, real, objetiva, honesta, precisa, funciones esenciales que resaltan el buen periodismo. La presente investigación, tiene como objetivo Determinar como la desinformación en los medios de comunicación afectan la opinión pública, al ser medios de libre expresión, algunos de ellos transgreden y manipulan la información obedeciendo a intereses de terceras personas, para cambiar la opinión pública, lo cual falta a su ética profesional, obteniendo el riesgo de ser sancionados, como lo demanda la ley en el artículo 362 de la Constitución de la República del Ecuador, que indica que la difusión de noticias falsas puede incurrir en sanciones legales. El proyecto que se desarrolla tiene un enfoque mixto, cualitativo y cuantitativo porque permite aplicar métodos, tipos de investigación y técnicas que recolectan, seleccionan y analizan los datos que se obtendrán a lo largo del estudio para posteriormente hacer las observaciones correspondientes y exponer los resultados finales que serán sustentados con base en los objetivos planteados.es_ES
