| dc.description | Globalization has grown abysmally and has become a determining factor when it comes to communicating, making people's lives more feasible, but it has also become a social phenomenon, with easy access to a lot of information, being digital media the main channel to inform us, ignoring the undervalued traditional media. This scientific research developed with a mixed methodology taking into account the basis of bibliographic material from different authors and the use of surveys conducted in the process of inquiry to 25 people from the parish of El Carmen, canton La Mana allowed the development of the treatment of information in the context of the dissemination of fake news to find work strategies being education in the use of social networks, monitoring of reliable pages, verification of the source of information feasible tools to combat disinformation therefore it should be emphasized that the more bases or resources exist to treat the information will help to spread the message in a responsible, coherent and effective way, where the key point is a better informed society, in turn enriching experience acquiring skills of responsibility when sending data or information to a target audience. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La globalización ha crecido abismalmente y se ha convertido en un factor determinante a la hora de comunicarnos logrando hacer más factible la vida de las personas, pero también se ha convertido en un fenómeno social, con facilidad acceso a mucha información siendo los medios digitales el principal canal para informarnos ignorando a los infravalorados medios tradicionales. Esta investigación científica desarrollada con una metodología mixta tomando en cuenta base del material bibliográfico de diferentes autores y uso de encuestas realizadas en el proceso de indagación a 25 personas de la parroquia el Carmen, cantón La Mana permitió el desarrollo del tratamiento de información en contexto de la divulgación de fake news encontrar estrategias de trabajo siendo la educación en el uso de redes sociales, seguimiento de páginas confiables, verificación de la fuente de información herramientas factibles para combatir la desinformación por lo tanto cabe recalcar que mientras más bases o recursos existan para tratar la información ayudara a difundir el mensaje de una forma responsable, coherente y eficaz, donde el punto clave es una sociedad mejor informada, a su vez enriqueciendo experiencia adquiriendo habilidades de responsabilidad al momento de enviar datos o información hacia un público objetivo. | es_ES |
