The pitahaya is a fruit that has long durability, it can be kept fresh for weeks and at room temperature, this is the main reason that motivates its cultivation and therefore it has been increasing over the years, it has become a potential source of economic income forming part not only of the national market but also of the international one. Based on all this, it is necessary to have a strategic management plan for the agronomic management of the pitahaya crop and thus ensure the quality and safety of the fruit.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas pitahayas Hylocereus undatus son más difíciles de cultivar, por tal motivo son menos frecuentes. Este es un fruto muy rico en vitaminas y que posee propiedades desinflamatorias, muchos especialistas lo recomiendan con la finalidad aumentar las defensas del cuerpo mejorando el sistema inmunológico, otros de sus múltiples beneficios se centra en su ayuda a la formación de los tejidos, los glóbulos rojos, los huesos y la producción de colágeno. La pitahaya es un fruto que posee larga durabilidad, puede conservarse fresca durante semanas y a una temperatura ambiente, esta es la razón principal que motiva su cultivo y por ende ha venido aumentando con el paso de los años, se ha convertido en una potencial fuente de ingresos económicos formando parte no solo del mercado nacional sino también del internacional. En base a todo esto es necesario contar con un plan de gestión estratégico para el manejo agronómico del cultivo de pitahaya y así asegurar la calidad y la inocuidad de la fruta.es_ES
