dc.descriptionThe research was carried out in the City of Windows UE where the absence of reading techniques in the development of the learning process was identified as a problematic context. Therefore, the following research question is posed: What is the influence of reading techniques on the student's academic performance? with the purpose of establishing the main research findings. Reason for which, in the case study, it was established as a general objective to establish the influence of reading techniques on the academic performance of students in the 7th year of basic general education. The techniques applied were the survey, direct observation and interview, where it was identified that the teacher does not consider the use of reading techniques frequently in the learning processes, which influences the student not to develop reflective thinking, read with fluency and adequately interpret the content of the reading. In conclusion, it is defined that the weak application of reading techniques influences the academic performance of students and limits the obtaining of advantages such as: improving text comprehension, greater concentration, learning to identify expressions or ideas.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa investigación se realizó en la UE Ciudad de Ventanas donde se identificó como contexto problemático la ausencia de técnicas de lectura en el desarrollo del proceso de aprendizaje. Por lo tanto, se plantea la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuál es la influencia que poseen las técnicas de lectura en el rendimiento académico del educando?, con el propósito de establecer los principales hallazgos investigativos. Motivo por el cual, en el caso de estudio se estableció como objetivo general establecer la influencia de las técnicas de lectura en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de 7mo año de educación general básica. Las técnicas aplicadas fueron la encuesta, observación directa y entrevista, donde se identificó que el docente no considera el uso de técnicas de lectura de manera frecuente en el proceso de aprendizaje, lo cual influye a que el educando no desarrolle un pensamiento reflexivo, lea con fluidez e intérprete de manera adecuada el contenido de la lectura. A manera de conclusión, se define que la débil aplicación de técnicas de lectura incide en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes y limita la obtención de ventajas tales como: mejorar la comprensión de textos, mayor concentración, aprender a identificar expresiones o ideas.es_ES
