dc.descriptionThe purpose of this case study is to analyze the process and inventory control of the company Metaltexcorpsa S.A., which is dedicated to the purchase and sale of gold, sale of silver jewelry, watches and resale agreements. This research work presents the reality that exists in the jewelry agencies, the management and control of merchandise is a very important issue in any organization engaged in commercial activities. A qualitative method was used to explain the events and discover the shortcomings within the company through an interview, which served as a great way to obtain reliable results. Through a verification of the inventory model that is used on a daily basis, it was possible to visualize the errors that occur frequently within the institution.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como finalidad analizar el proceso y el control de inventarios de la empresa Metaltexcorpsa S.A, la cual está dedicada a la compra y venta de oro, venta de joyerías de plata, relojes y pactos de retroventa. Este trabajo investigativo presenta la realidad que existe en las agencias de la joyería, el manejo y control de mercadería es un tema de suma importancia dentro de cualquier organización que se dedique a realizar actividades comerciales. Se utilizó un método cualitativo para la explicación de los acontecimientos y descubrir las falencias dentro de la empresa mediante una entrevista, la cual sirvió de gran manera para obtener resultados fiables. A través de una verificación al modelo de inventariado que se utiliza diariamente se pudo visualizar los errores que se presentan de manera frecuente dentro de la institución.es_ES
