dc.descriptionHypothyroidism is a disorder in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough of certain crucial hormones; Hypothyroidism may not cause noticeable symptoms in the early stages. Over time, untreated hypothyroidism can cause numerous health problems, including obesity, joint pain, infertility, tiredness, as well as malnutrition (Pinheiro, 2022). The clinical case presented is a 25-year-old female patient with hypothyroidism. Anthropometry was performed through which we were able to verify that she has moderate malnutrition taking into account her BMI; The nutritional treatment was applied through a change in eating habits, avoiding goitrogenic foods, increasing their consumption of proteins and carbohydrates given that they present moderate malnutrition and thus avoid possible complications in the future. Through nutritional and pharmacological treatment, it will be tried to reduce the patient's effects and maintain an adequate nutritional status, the hormone T4 and T3 is recommended to be supplemented by medical-pharmacologist treatment, the patient is prescribed a Hyper-protein and Normo-calorie diet , due to the patient's nutritional status, which is moderate malnutrition, according to her BMI, which is 16 kg/m2; It is recommended that you perform daily aerobic exercises of 30 minutes a day for 30 days, through its adaptation, your physical exercises will be increased in this way, we will improve the patient's health, both nutritional, emotional and physical.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl hipotiroidismo es un trastorno en el cual la glándula tiroides no produce la cantidad suficiente de ciertas hormonas cruciales; El hipotiroidismo puede no causar síntomas notables en las primeras etapas. Con el tiempo, el hipotiroidismo no tratado puede causar numerosos problemas de salud, como obesidad, dolor en las articulaciones, infertilidad, cansancio, así como desnutrición (Pinheiro, 2022). El caso clínico presentado es paciente femenina de 25 años de edad con hipotiroidismo, se realizó antropometría mediante la cual pudimos constatar que presenta desnutrición moderada tomando en cuenta su IMC; El tratamiento nutricional se aplicó mediante un cambio de hábitos alimentarios, evitando alimentos bocígenos, aumentando su consumo de proteínas e hidratos de carbono dado que presenta una desnutrición moderada y así evitar posibles complicaciones en un futuro. Mediante un tratamiento nutricional y farmacológico se tratara de disminuir las afectaciones de la paciente y mantener un estado nutricional adecuado, la hormona T4 Y T3 se recomienda suplementar mediante tratamiento médico-farmacólogo, se le prescribe a la paciente una dieta Híper-proteica y Normo calórica, debido a su estado nutricional en el que se encuentra la paciente el cual es desnutrición moderada, de acuerdo a su IMC, el cual es de 16 kg/m2; Se le recomienda realizar al día ejercicios aeróbicos de 30 minutos diarios durante 30 días, mediante su adaptación se aumentara sus ejercicios físicos de esta manera, mejoraremos la salud de la paciente tanto alimentaria, emocional y física.es_ES
