dc.descriptionThe present clinical case analyzes a patient with a clinical picture of intense abdominal pelvic pain plus vaginal bleeding for more than 48 hours of evolution, for which she was admitted to the Baba Basic Hospital, complementary tests are performed to diagnose the uterine fibroid, being that this pathology causes deterioration of both physical and emotional health. Uterine fibroids or leiomyomas are benign tumors that grow in the woman's womb (uterus), their shape, location and size is variable. According to its location it is classified as submucosal, intramural and subserosal, it can affect women between 25 and 50 years of age, in Ecuador its incidence comprises 30 to 50% of women affected by this pathology. The objective, therefore, is to determine the process of nursing care in adult patients with uterine fibroids, with this to be able to help restore their real and potential problems that are evident during the assessment, thus choosing the correct nursing interventions and ensuring the prompt recovery of the patient.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico analiza a una paciente con un cuadro clínico de dolor pélvico abdominal intenso más sangrado vaginal por más de 48 horas de evolución, por el cual fue ingresada al Hospital Básico Baba, se realiza los exámenes complementarios para diagnosticar el mioma uterino, siendo que esta patología causa deterioro de la salud tanto física como emocional. Los miomas uterinos o leiomiomas son tumores benignos que crecen en la matriz de la mujer (útero), su forma, localización y tamaño es variante. Según su localización se clasifica en submucosos, intramurales y subserosos, pueden afectar a mujeres entre los 25 a 50 años de edad, en el Ecuador su incidencia comprende el 30 0 50% de mujeres afectadas por esta patología. El objetivo por tanto es determinar el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente adulta con mioma uterino, con esto poder ayudar a restablecer sus problemas reales y potenciales que se evidencian durante la valoración, así elegir las intervenciones de enfermería correctas y asegurar la pronta recuperación de la paciente.es_ES
