| dc.description.abstract | El pie diabético es una complicación de los pacientes con antecedente de diabetes mellitus, que se presenta por niveles altos de glucosa en la sangre de manera crónica la cual produce daño en los vasos sanguíneos. Según datos los cuales los obtuvimos a través del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INEC) en el año 2015, Ecuador reportó a la diabetes mellitus como la segunda causa de mortalidad general, el mismo que quedaría situado como la primera causa de mortalidad en la población femenina y la tercera en la población masculina. En este caso clínico se hablará de un paciente adulto mayor con diagnóstico médico de pie diabético, tiene antecedentes de diabetes mellitus tipo 2 + hipertensión arterial, así como mal control de su patología crónica, evidenciando así esta complicación. Se aplicará la taxonomía NANDA, NIC Y NOC para determinar el diagnostico enfermero correcto y proceder al tratamiento y cuidados óptimos para el paciente. El paciente durante su tratamiento mostro reducción de las lesiones en su pie, se le brindo la educación para que continúe con su medicación oral y siga asistiendo a sus curaciones de manera responsable para evitar complicaciones futuras. | es_ES |
