Proceso atención de enfermería en neonato con enterocolitis necrotizante.
Abstract
¬El presente caso clínico analiza a un neonato con enterocolitis necrotizante en el área de Neonatología del Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro, en la ciudad de Guaranda. Esta condición clínica es considerada la causa más común de enfermedades gastrointestinales adquiridas y la razón más frecuente de emergencias quirúrgicas en el neonato. Se manifiesta de manera predominante es recién nacidos prematuros con bajo peso en su nacimiento. En las áreas de cuidados intensivos se presenta frecuentemente en una medida de 1.3 casos por cada 1000 neonatos vivos con una tasa de mortalidad del 20% al 50%, esto varía de acuerdo a su complejidad y grado de prematuridad del neonato. A pesar de los avances en los cuidados del neonato, esta condición clínica presenta una patogénesis multifactorial y aún no está terminantemente definida. Dentro de estas actividades de cuidados incluyen el soporte ventilatorio y cardiovascular, NPO, descompresión gástrica con sonda orogástrica y tratamiento con antibióticos de amplio espectro. Por lo tanto, el manejo de este estudio se centra en determinar el proceso de atención de enfermería en un neonato con enterocolitis necrotizante, en base a una metodología de diagnóstico donde se requiere la historia clínica de este paciente, la formulación de diagnósticos a través de una oportuna valoración y la planificación de intervenciones que logren mejorar la condición clínica de este paciente.
