| dc.description | Unspecified thrombocytopenia is a disease that affects the body which is caused by a low level of platelets or thrombocytes. Thrombocytes are cells that are located in the bloodstream and its main function is based on the process of blood clotting, is caused by alteration of blood platelets. It is important to point out that in Ecuador there is a considerable rate of cases with thrombocytopenia, epidemiology analyzes that 3 out of every 100 patients present this anomaly. In rural areas and indigenous communities these cases are mostly evidenced as Riobamba, Latacunga, Guaranda, and other communities in cities such as San Lorenzo, Guayaquil, Portoviejo. The following clinical case of a 50 year old female patient came to the emergency room of the General Hospital Martin Icaza with pain in the abdominal area, which presented a clinical picture of 3 days of evolution, characterized by irradiation of the hypogastric, complementary examinations were performed where it was evidenced the decrease in platelet level resulting in an unspecified thrombocytopenia, Therefore, the patient was admitted for 5 days in the hospitalization area, as part of the treatment, medication was administered under medical prescription. The general objective of this clinical case study was to apply the nursing care process in an adult patient with unspecified thrombocytopenia. In the development of the clinical case study were based on different theories and taxonomies where the altered functional patterns were evidenced based on Marjory Gordon's theory, this patient was carefully assessed and therefore a nursing care plan was developed to provide better quality care, which is very efficient for the patient during his hospital stay. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La trombocitopenia no especificada es una enfermedad que afecta al organismo la cual se origina por el bajo nivel de plaqueta o trombocitos. Los trombocitos son células que se encuentran localizadas en el torrente sanguíneo y su principal función se basa en realizar el proceso de coagulación de la sangre, se origina por alteración de las plaquetas sanguíneas. Es importante indicar que en el Ecuador existe una tasa considerable de casos con trombocitopenia, la epidemiología analiza que 3 de cada 100 pacientes presentan esta anomalía. En las zonas rurales y comunidades indígenas se evidencian mayormente estos casos como Riobamba, Latacunga, Guaranda, y otras comunidades de ciudades como; San Lorenzo, Guayaquil, Portoviejo. El siguiente caso clínico de una paciente de 50 años de sexo femenino acudió a la emergencia del Hospital General Martín Icaza con dolor en la zona abdominal, el cual presentó un cuadro clínico de 3 días de evolución, caracterizado por irradiación del hipogástrico, se le realiza exámenes complementarios donde se evidenció la disminución del nivel plaquetario arrojando como resultado una trombocitopenia no especificada, por lo cual se procede al ingreso de la paciente durante 5 días en el área de hospitalización, como parte del tratamiento se administró medicación bajo prescripción médica, este desarrollo de caso clínico tuvo como objetivo general aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente adulto con trombocitopenia no especificada. En el desarrollo del estudio del caso clínico se basaron en diferentes teorías y taxonomías donde se logró evidenciar a los patrones funcionales alterados en base a la teoría de Marjory Gordon, se valoró de manera cuidadosa a esta paciente y por lo correspondiente se elaboró un plan de cuidados de enfermería para brindarle una mejor atención de calidad, que sea muy eficiente para el paciente durante su estadía hospitalaria. | es_ES |
