dc.descriptionAcute infection caused by community-acquired pneumonia is a problem at the pulmonary parenchymal level, and is mainly caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. The main cases of pneumonia are caused by viruses and bacteria. the unlikely ones are caused by parasites and fungi. The clinical case aims to apply nursing interventions to a pediatric patient diagnosed with pneumonia pediatric patient diagnosed with Community Acquired Pneumonia, hospitalized in the pediatric area of the General Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro. Through this study, we were able to conclude that the Nursing Care Process is essential to provide quality care and warmth to pediatric patients with this infection. Patients with this infection, thus benefiting their sanitary conditions and considerably improving the clinical .These activities are necessary to achieve timely recovery with the medical management and the nursing actions implemented.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa infección aguda provocada por la neumonía adquirida en la comunidad es un problema a nivel del parénquima pulmonar, y es principalmente provocado por Streptococcus pneumoniae. Los casos fundamentales de neumonía son causados por virus y bacterias las poco probables son por parásitos y hongos. El presente caso clínico tiene como objetivo aplicar las intervenciones de Enfermería a un paciente pediátrico diagnosticado con Neumonía Adquirida en la Comunidad, hospitalizado en el área de pediatría del Hospital General Alfredo Noboa Montenegro. Mediante este estudio pudimos concluir que el Proceso de Atención de Enfermería es indispensable para brindar una atención de calidad y calidez a los pacientes pediátricos con esta infección, logrando beneficiar sus condiciones sanitarias y mejorando considerablemente las manifestaciones clínicas, siendo estas actividades necesarias para lograr la recuperación oportuna con el manejo médico y las acciones de enfermería implementadas.es_ES
